I'm a member of the Raleigh Outdoor Photography Club. Sorry I missed your recent presentation to the group this past month. But I watched the video that Adam made of it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXg2Z1NvWOE), which led me to download the app and try it out. Nice!

Glad to know another club member like the project!! do you want to meet up so that I can understand more of your use case? do you mainly plan to use tapsbook for casual personal use?

Hi Sherwood. Thanks for emailing me. Yes, I would love to connect with you and talk more about the app. Maybe lunch sometime in the next week or two?

After seeing the video presentation, I first just wanted to play with the app and see what it could do. As you describe the app on your website, I certainly see the value in it for sharing photos with friends and family. Although I am also a professional photographer, I see using this more for casual personal use. I first made a web book of photos I took of a dance performance with my friend's two daughters. They love it! I may load photos of their last-year performance and let the girls (15 & 7) try to create their own web book for sharing with grandparents and friends.

I'd also love to talk to you about iOS app creation. I'm going through some tutorials and am hoping to make my own photo-helper app. I teach photography at the college level, and see things I'd like to have in an iPhone app to use in the field together with an SLR. I'd also want it to be a tool for students, and thus a teaching aid.

By the way, I taught in China for two summers (2006 & 2007 in Taiyuan, Shanxi), and my brother will soon be going over to teach for a year in Wuhan.
